The machine features multiple torque modes, including a dedicated lining mode (m_L), enhanced power modes (m+1 to m+2), a natural response mode (m+0), and softer shading modes (m-1 to m-3) for smooth blends with precise motor feedback. Powered by the Faulhaber 2214 BXT brushless motor, the M2XTD delivers low vibration, reduced noise, and reliable performance within a 36–140 Hz (3–12 V) range. Needle depth is continuously adjustable from 0 to 4.5 mm.
Equipped with a high-capacity Li-Ion 18650 battery offering approximately 9–11 hours of runtime, this machine is ideal for long sessions. The LED indicator displays battery status, while the external 2-slot USB-C charger enables fast charging of two batteries simultaneously. The full rear OLED display with integrated buttons and 4-way joystick control allows intuitive navigation through settings such as brightness, auto shut-off, and voltage or Hz display — even while wearing gloves. Suitable for left-handed artists and fully tool-free disassembly for easy cleaning and stroke changes.
Finished in black, the ACUS M2XTD measures 141 mm in length, 35 mm in diameter, and weighs 204 g including the battery.
